LDA Europe is delighted to announce that our President, Mr. Marilo Meta, will be participating in the mobility program facilitated by the Adriatic-Ionian network of universities, regions, chambers of commerce, and municipalities – UniAdrion. From mid-September to the end of November 2023, Mr. Meta will be hosted at the Faculty of Management, University of Primorska. His application for research and international activities was accepted by Associate Professor Dr. Anna Grdović Gnip.
UniAdrion, the network of universities in the Adriatic-Ionian region, is dedicated to promoting collaboration among universities, research centers, and regions to enhance international cooperation and advance culture, science, education, and research.
During his stay, Mr. Meta’s focus will be on macro-regional strategies within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), with a significant emphasis on sustainable development, research, and innovation.
Marilo quoted: “Participating in the AI-NURECC PLUS Mobility Program in Slovenia through my affiliation with UP-FM was truly a transformative experience. This unique opportunity not only allowed me to fully immerse myself in the academic world but also provided the platform for personal growth and a substantial expansion of my knowledge within the field of Macro Regions Strategies. The highlight of my journey is the publication of an academic article, which stands as a testament to the program’s commitment to scholarly excellence. The collaborative environment and knowledge exchange during the program were both inspiring and invaluable, and I am profoundly grateful for the doors it has opened in my academic and professional journey.”
During his stay, Mr. Meta will be mentored by Professor Dr. Roberto Bilaslavo and Doc. Dr. Andrea Pegan. Together, they will work on developing sustainable strategies and innovative solutions for the Adriatic-Ionian region, aiming to enhance collaboration between universities, regions, the economy, and municipalities in the area.
