NURTURE Project Comes to a Close
[🇬🇧 English version] Empowering Youth Through Apprenticeships in NGOs
We are pleased to share the final NURTURE newsletter, marking the conclusion of the Erasmus+ project “Nurturing the World Can Be a Job”. Over the past months, the project has brought together young people, mentors, and civil society organizations across the Western Balkans to explore new pathways for youth employment through structured apprenticeships in NGOs.
As the National Support Point (NSP) for Albania, LDA Europe coordinated and implemented the project activities at national level, working closely with partner organizations, mentors, and young apprentices.
Key Results in Albania
Through the NURTURE project in Albania, we achieved several important outcomes:
- Selection and engagement of partner NGOs offering apprenticeship placements
- Career counseling sessions supporting young people before and after their apprenticeships
- Mentoring activities strengthening the role of NGOs as learning and working environments
- National seminars, workshops, and public events connecting youth with the labour market
- Active participation in regional activities, including the NURTURE Apprenticeship Contest
These activities demonstrated that NGOs can function as real workplaces, offering meaningful professional development, mentoring, and long-term career perspectives for young people.
Regional Cooperation and Youth Impact
At regional level, the NURTURE partnership fostered strong collaboration between organizations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia. Young people were not only participants, but active contributors, developing project ideas, reflecting on their learning journeys, and shaping innovative approaches to youth employment.

- Key project outputs and tools
- Reflections on challenges, lessons learned, and sustainability
Looking Ahead
The completion of NURTURE does not mark an end, but a foundation for future initiatives. LDA Europe remains committed to:
- Supporting youth employability
- Strengthening the NGO sector as a career pathway
- Building bridges between young people, civil society, and the labour market

Projekti NURTURE Përmbyllet
[🇦🇱 Versioni në Shqip] Fuqizimi i të rinjve përmes praktikave profesionale në OJF
Me kënaqësi po ndajmë buletinin përmbyllës të projektit NURTURE, i cili shënon përfundimin e projektit Erasmus+ “Nurturing the World Can Be a Job”. Gjatë zbatimit të tij, projekti bashkoi të rinj, mentorë dhe organizata të shoqërisë civile në Ballkanin Perëndimor, duke krijuar mundësi reale punësimi përmes praktikave profesionale të strukturuara në OJF.
Si National Support Point (NSP) për Shqipërinë, LDA Europe koordinoi dhe zbatoi aktivitetet e projektit në nivel kombëtar, në bashkëpunim të ngushtë me organizatat partnere, mentorët dhe praktikantët.
Rezultatet Kryesore në Shqipëri
Në kuadër të projektit NURTURE në Shqipëri u arritën këto rezultate:
- Përzgjedhja dhe përfshirja e OJF-ve partnere për ofrimin e praktikave
- Seanca këshillimi karriere për të rinjtë para dhe pas praktikës
- Aktivitetet e mentorimit që forcuan rolin e OJF-ve si vende mësimi dhe pune
- Seminare kombëtare, workshop-e dhe evente publike mbi tregun e punës
- Pjesëmarrje aktive në aktivitetet rajonale dhe Konkursin e Praktikës NURTURE
Këto aktivitete dëshmuan se OJF-të mund të jenë vende reale pune, duke ofruar zhvillim profesional, mentorim cilësor dhe perspektiva afatgjata për të rinjtë.
Bashkëpunimi Rajonal dhe Ndikimi te të Rinjve
Në nivel rajonal, partneriteti NURTURE forcoi bashkëpunimin ndërmjet organizatave nga Shqipëria, Bosnja dhe Hercegovina, Mali i Zi, Kroacia dhe Sllovenia. Të rinjtë u angazhuan jo vetëm si përfitues, por si kontribues aktivë, duke zhvilluar ide projektesh, reflektuar mbi përvojën e tyre dhe ndërtuar modele inovative për punësimin rinor.

- Ndërtimin e bashkëpunimeve afatgjata ndërmjet të rinjve, OJF-ve dhe tregut të punës
