LDA Europe at the Green IT Mobility Training Course!
Four young professionals from LDA Europe in Albania had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Green IT Mobility Training Course held in Tuscany, Italy, from June 5-13, 2024. This enriching program was organized by the Young Effect Association and supported by Erasmus+, aimed at promoting sustainable practices and ecological responsibility among youth.
About the Training Course:
The Green IT Mobility Training Course focused on:
1. Enhancing Ecological Responsibility: Educating participants on sustainable practices and reducing carbon and digital footprints.
2. Promoting Active Involvement: Engaging youth in activities highlighting the impacts of climate change and encouraging their participation in sustainable practices.
3. Strengthening Emotional Connection to the Environment: Inspiring a protective instinct towards nature and encouraging actions that support its preservation.
4. Fostering Digital Literacy: Incorporating digital tools and platforms to enhance participants’ digital readiness and resilience in the fight against climate change.
5. Empowering Digital Communication: Developing online communication skills for effectively advocating for environmental action.
6. Informing About Opportunities: Providing information on how to develop new projects under the Erasmus+ Programme.
Location
The training took place in the picturesque setting of Marina di Massa, Tuscany. This coastal area, known for its stunning views, rich history, and vibrant local culture, provided a perfect backdrop for the training sessions and activities.
Participants’ Experience
Our representatives from LDA Europe actively engaged in the training sessions, bringing back valuable knowledge and experience to share with our community. They participated in a variety of workshops, discussions, and practical activities, all aimed at building a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and digital tools.
This experience not only enriched their professional skills but also strengthened their commitment to environmental sustainability and digital advocacy. We are proud of their dedication and look forward to implementing the insights gained from this course in our future projects.
